About Me

CURRENT MISSION

spread the Tango!

ABOUT ME

k... my passions are Tango, Sardegna and my two kids, who stay with me every two weeks for a couple of days, and live at their mother's. I enjoy playing instruments, company, chess. And I love Tango. I started going downhill with my age and superated good ol' 30 years! Oh, I love languages, as well! Recently haven't learned any new ones, but am very interested in (and have already started) learning french, russian, turkish and arabic. if the opportunity arises.

PHILOSOPHY

Yep, I am an agnostic, live my life 'cause it's tremendously fun, agonizing, intense... Give me your best shot!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

The living situation is somehow complicated at the moment. So I might have a couch available, but maybe not. You'll have to ask.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Lots of positive experiences hosting, none surfing, yet.

Interests

As said above: people, Tango (very addicted), my Kids (very addicted), chess (not addicted), self-realization (using "the work" of byron katie)... Mathematical puzzels, cultures...

Music, Movies, and Books

Tango music comes first... then Jazz (Nina Simone, for instance, who doesn't? ;-) Paolo Conte..., movies... too many stuff around, seldom time, but I was fascinated by "La Tigre e la Neve" from Benini. Murakami is a fascinating author, as is Terry Prattchet (in a very different way, though! ;-) And I really like some of Walter Möers works. Oh, Horst Evers is a fantastic humourists (german humour, so beware! ;-) Les Luthier (Argentinian) are geniuses and... well, there's lots of good guys.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Decided to go to Argentinia. And on the spot decided to learn the Bandoneon and spent a small fortune in a good instrument. Bought a Violin, although I have no idea how to play. Dropped out of a plane flying above the clouds, although the plane was NOT on fire. Twice. Gathering people from the past together. High school, elementary school. Actually bought a flat and working on it, since! Most amazing, though are the people I learned to know and love (not always in that order! ;-)

Teach, Learn, Share

So what I like most, I like teaching and learning most. Which would be: instruments (Piano, Guitar, Bandoneon), Tango, languages (Italian, German, English, Spahish), self-realization (amazing)

Countries I’ve Visited
