About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Finding the Art of Happiness within

ABOUT ME

Agent of change, idiot savant, Insatiable and indomitable, pleased to make your acquaintance. Of a universe made of stories, not atoms. Frequently found in upper worlds of meditation or in Bikram Yoga, secretly wishing I were a psychoanalyst. The unexpected delights him.Sebastian is a visualizer, NLP Masters, MBA, food artist, enthusiast, speculator, collector, connoisseur, philanthropist and (no doubt) many more things too. What he certainly is not is "normal". Theres a great saying about how most cynics are really crushed romantics. As easy as it is to be cynical is a world of high-speed normality, Sebastian is a remorseless romantic. His ongoing pursuit of discovering the individual and collective soul through the use of The Creative Law of MIND revel in the uncommon pleasures of free-thinking outsiders. It is a truly wondrous act, and one that makes every individual he touches, a richer one.
The past is the past, the future unformed. There is only the moment, and that is where he prefers to be.

PHILOSOPHY

Each of us has a default lens through which we see the world. We call it reality, but in fact it's a selective filter. "Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, “Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?” Actually, who are you NOT to be? And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we're liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others." ~Marianne WilliamsonLet yourself be lived by life. TAO. Let go and allow the source to do and perform its magic. Let yourself be done.Life is like a circus. Felix Rodriguez

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I collect interesting people.I pass the time by enjoying the looks of quiet horror in the averted gazes of English people with whom I make I eye contact on the tube and I Plaster a Smile On.When all else fails, smile like you mean it – Human beings are naturally social creatures, and even if we are in the foulest of moods, by interacting with other people in a positive manner, we start the slow or even sudden climb to feeling more positive.Specifically, I am here to recruit dashing co-conspirators for the coming creation of the new race; a group of audacious, captivating,mentally-unhinged world citizens with growing hearts, positive intentions, and daring ideas about recapturing the joy of idyllic childhood pillow fights.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It started some years ago. Now I'm part of this community and love being able to meet and share with others.

Interests

Look around – Everyone has things in their immediate surroundings at any given time that they can be grateful for. However, if you don’t take the time to consciously appreciate those things, you will get into the habit of just taking them for granted. Every few hours just stop what you are doing, and for 5 minutes just look around wherever you are and appreciate things that you normally just take for granted. Life is Beautiful. SmileAnything and everything under the sun — half-remembered memories, abstract flights of fancy, unbidden thoughts of all descriptions.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Favorite electronic house, like the oldies: the very danceable, Royksopp, Trentemoller, Brazilian Grove...of course Salsa Tunes. Books: -The Power of your Sub-Conscious Mind by Joseph Murphy. (Gives you the tools you will need to unlock the awesome powers of your subconscious mind).-Psychomagic by Alejandro Jodorowsky. (A healing path using the power of dreams, theater, poetry, and shamanism. Shows how psychological realizations can cause true transformation when manifested by concrete poetic acts).-The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle. (Its the sort of book that continues to swirl about in your consciousness weeks after you’ve read it. It left me permanently changed).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

What is it that we find so attractive about pirates and rock stars, those iconic weavers of the Skull Head? Its not that they are death-hunted, but that every time we look at that symbol, we recog-nise the finite quality of life. So it serves as a permanent reminder to extract the maximum intensity from the moment, to be here now. Its the only way to live. Discovering the Power of Now. The basic principle of my life is quite simple — nothing exists outside this present moment. But that’s a very different way of thinking than I was used to. I used to think of my lifetime as a line segment from birth to death. The present moment was a single point on that line moving slowly forward. The past was the part of the line behind that point, and the future was the part ahead of it. After reading The Power of Now, I stopped thinking of my life in this way. I finally understood that this model was extremely disempowering. The Power of Now taught me that there is no line segment. The point is all there is. The past and the future are illusions. They only exist to the degree we focus our attention on them right now. We create the past and the future by imagining them in the present. But we don’t even exist outside the Now.

Teach, Learn, Share

Aging gracelessly. Drifting purposefully. Aligning with the tao.I can re-program your mind and hypnotize you through NLP.The session is part of an elaborate strategy intended to break apart the dysfunctional persona with whom the patient identifies in order to connect with a deeper self. That is when true transformation can manifest. This will aid you in fulfilling your full potential. It is easier for the unconscious to understand the language of visualization than that of rationality. I can also share with you a meditation technique to quiet your mind, and renovate yourself. I can guide you through a yoga session to help stretch and expand your heart. I would like to learn from you. What can you share?
