About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To remember my dreams when I wake up

ABOUT ME

I have been in the bay area since August of 2006. I really love the area, especially the farmer's markets. I love food, cooking, tasting, and learning. I love going to shows (movies, theater, live music), especially if there is a bit of obscurity to it. I aspire to help people in new ways and learn as much as I can. I would be a life time student if I could afford it. I especially love Art, though visually I have much to learn I desire to paint or draw something magical someday. I am learning all the time.

PHILOSOPHY

When I grow up I want to be a kid!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Couch Surfing offers me the opportunity to try new things with travelers and go new places to surf. I have attended groups, given back to the community, learned something new, and made someone laugh, all while my soul learned to smile.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I formally hosted bands and was a member of byofl.org (great for bands) I also traveled ten years ago and couched surfed, but without the website. I have hosted a couple of times since on the site and when traveling I look forward to meet CSers from that area or meeting up with travelers in my own area.

Interests

pictures, art, nature, adventure, FOOD!!!, Cultures, people, music, Burning Man, writing stories and poetry, etc. I love music festivals, hiking new hills and discovering new waterfalls. I like long drives and seeing the magic of nature. You never know when an albino peacock is going to be crossing the road in front of you. I like breweries and wineries, cheese factories and bakeries, markets and clubs, golf trips and ski trips. I like trying things new, and I especially love dancing.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a special place in my heart for anything beat. from Kerouac to Nas

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I helped start a renegade Guerilla urban garden. I started a college radio station. I ran my own non profit and my own for profit businesses.

Teach, Learn, Share

I will attempt to teach. I can only share. I will try to learn. It is up to me if I am taught.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love making collages and cocktails. I'm a pretty good cook. Also, time and ears. Great listener and happy to roll up sleeves and dig in.
