About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to check off some items on my Bucket list

ABOUT ME

I'm a pretty easy going person who likes a little variety now and again. I'm more interested in the process of getting up and going - so as long as I'm seeing new things, and trying new things, I'm easily pleased.

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I've had a few handfuls of wonderful guests enjoy my beautiful plaid couch. I also had the distinct pleasure of surfing several wonderful couches with several wonderful hosts.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've yet to have a bad experience, everyone who I've met up with or who has crashed with me has been simply a pleasure to have. Plus I love playing tour guide. But now I'm in a new city so surfing with me may involve a good portion of getting lost - but hey, that's half the fun, eh?

Interests

Theatre, writing, hockey, food. If any of those things are involved I'll likely be having a good time.

Music, Movies, and Books

I Am Sam, Hotel Rwanda, Shawshank Redemption, Once, Paris Je'Taime, In America, Towelhead, The Syrian Bride, The Maltese Falcon, Pi, Teeth, Lars and the Real Girl, Nói albínói, Another Bullshit Night In Suck City. I like listening to; The Beatles, The Doors, The Clash, The Who, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, bands with a definite article in their name

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been to the wailing wall, floated in the dead sea, climbed a volcano, performed at the fringe in Edinburgh, watched the sun rise on mountain tops, run a half marathon with my father in 10 degree weather, bird watched at the cliffs of Moher, climbed down the grand canyon, and eating burritos double the size of my head ... it is simply impossible to pick just one.

Teach, Learn, Share

I find that the best life skill to have is, knowing how to cook. So few people can manage it that a little olive oil here, a pinch of garlic, and a little finesse and you have friends for life.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Israel, Netherlands, Scotland, Spain, Taiwan, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
