CURRENT MISSION

Currently living and working in Broome WA. My Mission - to live on the east coast… never in cold Vic again :-) so I am looking for a place to call home. Will be hosting again as soon as i find it.

ABOUT ME

I love traveling & stories about travel. My wonderful home is in Ocean Grove beside the beach. I'd love you to visit, especially if you speak french as my daughter stayed in Belgium for 6 months and and we both want to learn.
For now I am happy to read, swim , walk , explore my local area, go to lots of music festivals , meet new people and get my hands dirty in the earth. I am currently creating a garden, expanding my vegetable garden and getting into renovating and painting.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have a "couch" (beautiful beach house weekender) to offer, so that I can share stories and hopefully have some french speaking people for my daughter to practice with.
I am happy to meet and explore the world through others eyes till it is my time to travel again.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

in my youth i did this without the internet !!!!...squatting on musty sofas in London. living with italians and french who spoke a little english ...no money and loads of fun, and lots of life lessons.

all sorts of books and movies ... not scarey stuff though or weird sci fi.
I love all sorts of music - classical, folk, blues, but bot so fussy of jazz.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

hitched hiked across the Nullabour plain when I was 15 yr old. spent a week with truck drivers and local blokes... learn a lot and found trust and welcoming helpful people. Not recommended to my daughter though ???? funny that ...

I work with teenagers who have been kicked out of school for behaviour..they are an interesting bunch..live life to the fullest and are tough .
