The Beatles, James Brown, Talking Heads, The Kinks, The Band, Stevie Wonder, Deerhoof, Al Green, Wilson Picket, the Beach Boys...books...at the moment, anything by Haruki Murakami...movies...Wayne's World, Stop Making Sense

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A couple of years ago I played music for a Balinese cremation ceremony. We were carried on a bamboo platform by shouting men who would spin us around to confuse the spirit of the deceased. It wasn't my finest performance but I managed to keep playing without falling off.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you about music, chances are if you put me up I will have a guitar with me. I will serenade you...or be quiet if that is what you desire. I like to cook, but I don't claim to be especially good at it. If you are doing any housepainting or building projects, I am somewhat handy in that department.

I am very interested in learning new languages.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Japan, Kenya, Malawi, Netherlands, Singapore, South Korea, Tanzania, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Indonesia, Japan
