ABOUT ME

I feel a lot, and discover new states nearly every day. I can be funny and see the humor in things, in a Zen sense, but usually don't dwell in it. I love God. My mind speaks poetry and mathematics, but is usually projected in the form of music. I spend a lot of time in solitude, but my soul is in love. If I could change one thing about myself I would be free, or be able to always remember that I am.

-Accepted the Trinity
-The sunrise atop the Buddhist mountain, Emei, was spectacular with the morphing of the clouds with their swirling, illuminous energy (like how rambling thoughts might look) and feeling ecstatic, orgasmic
-A meteor shower while floating the Colorado River as my feet were dangling in the cool water
-Rode four-hour comby ride in Laos just standing on back as wind blew in my smiling face
-Jumped out of airplane in Perris, California w/ my brother and friend, and w/out a front tooth. So punk!
-Climbed Long's Peak on longest day of the year
-A swamp blossom into a thriving wetland as the fruit of my labors
-The Colorado Symphony Orchestra perform Mahler's Third Symphony
-The way a wonderful Mexican family celebrates Christmas and New Years (12 grapes!)
-My younger siblings become the most amazing people I've ever heard of, much less have the honor to be their big sis!
-Lived on a Tibetan farm for two meditative months - Omu Sadu Ponzu Rati Chudu Jamba DeqiZhuoma Etre Chudu
-Shared the songs of Cat Stevens between a few generations around the campfire on a Utah biking trip
-The Window
-Hitchhiked to Montana w/ brother Matt and only got picked up because of our climbing rope numerous times
-A drum circle near Cortez
-Laos hand-fishing ritual
-Devil's Tower
-Gongga Shan
-Ran full speed down the Sand Dunes of Colorado, four times in one summer - naked!
-Sang our hearts out to sacred Tibetan chants with Sijun in his candlelit Guiyang home, ten years after I first did that with my friends in Colorado
-Biked through a rainstorm among the misty limestone karsts in Guangxi and the feeling was exhilarating
-Heard/visualized the sound of infinite
-Reborn and just know that love and breath is the answer
-Worked with twenty-five awesome teenagers in the wilderness
-Grand Canyon river trip in November. The walls.
