About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Everyone who thinks and feels is welcome in my life.

ABOUT ME

Freelance researcher in political science, a PhD candidate focused on security and the Balkans (which I am totally in love with both professionally as well as privately;-) Trying to learn from every moment, every person and every place I am at or with. Open to everything that is new, different and smart. Closed to closeness.

Originally from Poland, recently in Brussels, London and the Balkans, currently working at Columbia University, New York.

PHILOSOPHY

Be open and be aware.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Although having an account for a while already, just now I'm experiencing and discovering the beauty of the CS...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Growing;-)I have the profile for quite a while already, however, for a long time somewhere between my life in Berlin and Belgrade I was not using it at all and unfortunately didn't make it clear back than on the profile. Feel bad about not responding but would feel even worse if deleting the profile and setting up a new one...So I am back with humility.

Interests

Kind of freak when it comes to political science and international security being the main interests shaping the professional life and traveling experiences. Theater, good movies, cuisine. But the primary interest on the list are interesting people who can make me interested in everything and make me enjoy everything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The breakfast I had today with my friends. Small is amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

You can teach and learn thing hard to be named from people all over the world. However I feel I can share some knowledge regarding the Balkans, as well as living in Berlin and studying abroad. Moreover common discussions about art, international politics and civic engagement my be very inspirational.
