ABOUT ME

Grew up upon a farm and have two brothers being farmers, I'm still a farmer by heart. Choose the theoretical approach to farming (agronomist)so to get more time for all the other interesting things to do in life. Currently engaged in local politics (member of city council in Randers) and at the same time trying to deliver a top-notch contribution as energy policy analyst working for Danish Wind Turbine Owners’ Association; keeping my lovely wife and three kids happy; our house and garden tidy and doing as much sports as possible. Married to Inga since 1984. She is manager of a canteen at a technical & business college in Randers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Traveled around the world together with my wife (honey moon) back in 84/85 and enjoyed the hospitality of SERVAS host.

Couched with a young guy for one night, when I bicycled down Highway #1 from San Francisco to Montery and across to Gilroy. Couched in Jacksonville and Brooklyn together with my wife and recently at Avellana Beach, Costa Rica. Couched twice in amazing Borrego Springs with a very nice couple and sharing the pleasure of cycling with them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Drove across US from Oceanside to Annapolis in just 12 days as member of a Race Across America crew. Did a marathon in 2:38 after 3 months of training. That was way back in 1984. Rode 600 km and +10.000 height meters in 4 days on tracks, gravel and roads on Costa Rica. Rode in 5½ day 1.715 km from Randers to Nantes with nice CS hosts helping me along.
