ABOUT ME

I grew up in Santa Cruz, California. I lived in Oakland for a few years and graduated high school there. Then I went up north and went to school at Humboldt State University where I got a degree in Studio art. I later moved back to Santa Cruz and got a contractors license so that I could be self employed and make a lot of money. I was also a Deejay at the radio station here www.KZSC.org and had a Brazilian show that I did. Now I have given all of that up and gave all of my stuff away to go on a Buddhist retreat. I just finished 3 years of retreat in the South of France in a place called Lerab Ling. I am now enrolled in a course to teach English in Montpellier. After that I would like to travel and teach. Well....a lot has happened since the last "about me" ramble. I was just teaching surfing and yoga in Portugal this past summer and now I am living in Berlin at the moment teaching yoga.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Slept under and active volcanoe in Aranal, Costa Rica and jumped into its hot river. Spent 1 month working in Esalen, Big Sur, CA I sat in Hot springs watching the waves crash onto the shore. I have been on a Buddhist retreat in the south of France for the past 3years. I have traveled in a van all over California. Fun Stuff!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am studying Tibetan Buddhism right now in Southern France. Hopefully I will know more about this subject when I am done. I know how to build a house. I know a bit about cars. I can draw, paint, create. I can cook. I know how to surf, skateboard, snowboard. I am also a yoga teacher and surfboard instructor.
