ABOUT ME

In April of 2017, I moved from Sacramento CA to Chapel Hill NC, then I found my own place in Raleigh NC .

I look, think, and act, younger than my years. I am a good listener, strong, gentle, patient, understanding, caring, and witty. I meditate daily, and I work out 6-7 times a week. I'm a Certified Life Coach (coachlyon.net), Certified Aromatherapist, and was a Chef/Instructor for many years. I have an incredible 25 year old daughter who lives Chapel Hill NC, and will be going to UNCW this Fall. I'm currently an online TOEFL Rater for ETS . I'm well traveled, and still like to travel - my fluent Spanish helps where it is spoken. I have a George Carlin-esque sense of humor, and my senses are very acute. I'm into Simple, but Elegant; Intelligence - not Intellectualism; I prefer casual and I "know" how to be formal (even own a Tux!);
I believe that QUALITY always "speaks for itself." I'm very handy around the house. I went to UC Berkeley in the 60's, and I left my "Macho" in Costa Rica after Peace Corps. I do not need to watch sports on TV (I rather be playing, or doing something active) - yet I do enjoy an occasional Basketball or Baseball game with 'company'.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE: Have hosted dozens from around the globe. Have surfed, so far, only in the US - Layton, UT; several CA cities with a few "repeat" visits with C-S friends! Most recently, I Surfed in a few places during my cross country journey to my new home in Raleigh NC.

Before CouchSurfing was an .org... Various and sundry stays with friends, relatives, and 'newly made friends' in Paris, Miami, Toronto, Westlake Village, Bologna, Ft. Myers Beach, NYC, Los Angeles, Costa Rica, rural MA, Seattle, ...et al.
