I live in an off-grid community just outside of Dawson City, Yukon. I love hosting folks on our property, we've got a wall tent, a camper, or vehicles to stay in and lots of space in the woods to pitch a tent. Depending on the season we raise pigs and chickens, we once had a goat, have lots of gardens and a greenhouse. There's always tons to do! We love hosting folks who are down to pitch in.

In the summer we raise pigs and slaughter and butcher them ourselves. I recently graduated from butcher school so am starting that new endeavour in my life. But I try not to eat too much meat!

Because it's an amazing community! I've been part of couch surfing for many years now, I host, I surf, and also just love meeting up with other travelers.
