Learn as much Spanish and make as many new friends as possible in Chile.

ABOUT ME

I love to dance and will do so embarrassingly in public. I love to drink tea as the sun comes up. My favorite word is Wanderlust because I constantly feel this gut-wrenching desire to wander. I live to see the changing of the seasons, nothing moves me more then a flower budding or a leaf turning orange. When I finish my studies I would like to travel the world working on farms so that I might one day have my own. I love the desert, especially in spring. I cannot live without the ocean. History really entertains me. I am a skeptical, cynical, rationalist I cannot stop believing in magic. I'm a disgruntled idealist and a pessimistic optimist. My glass is half full but I am still drinking.

PHILOSOPHY

Live with no regrets, knowing the world is only as we perceive it and that there is not a world outside of the self.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Have had wonderful experiences surfing in Germany, Switzerland, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Sweden, Poland, and France. Hosted for a bit at my old apartment before I went traveling. Have attended events in many places while traveling. Polish Woodstock CS Camp! CS Kundesleden 09!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In my junior year of high school I went on my first backpacking trip with a year long program and lost my self to the wilderness. The sierras changed my life. Nothing like high desert to strip away your illusions and leave you naked for the world.
