I started couch surfing...not because i wanted a cheap way or free shelter. I started it because i wanted to answer my own questions in this world.
-What is the world outside like?
-What is true humanity like?

Now, It has been more than eight years since I first joint.

Now, after all the traveling, I am now achieving a higher calling in life...that is to help fighting cancer!!!
I find that this is a very fulfilling work...yet i can build a business yet work from anywhere!!! Flexible lifestyle like this means so much to me !!!

I love about wellness....and enjoy writing, chinese calligraphy writing, reading, cooking and traveling. I also love all the simple things in life...and I enjoy people who are young at heart. Nowadays, i am helping to fight cancer one at a time....and i do this moving from one place to another!!!

I love learning, and quest for knowledge... I love laughing.I laugh and learn from my own experiences. After speaking so many languages, i find that it is best to live light ! No big houses . No big car . ..etc.

I learn from people I meet and books I read.
I believe in purity of mind,speech and deeds...and is a firm believer of Ahimsa-Mahatma Gandhi and also a firm believer of Tao. , you can call me a great idol of Lao Tzu.

I love ancient Chinese philosophy, and believe in Dao De Jing... i am very glad that i can read, speak and write fluent Chinese to appreciate all these. I love to meet people who share this same classics..

I love the creative mind ...And, i love the kitchen as it is my biggest playground...I love entertaining with Chinese or Thai tom-yum food..

Whenever i am being hosted,i would try to show little gratitude with some simple cooking for my host. And, the best thing is, even a meal shared with an initial stranger turned out to be so great experience.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Started off as a baby-surfer in Madrid,Valencia and Vienna during June08. I had also had been a host.
-I also couch-surf in malaysia,in 2009..and the longest was my recent one-year trip in Latin america!!

Couch surf is one of the best way to study human!
I like to couch surf and also meet people here, as i believe the best things in life, is free. I am exploring the possibility if one can choose to live better in our capitalist society, where we don't talk too much about money.

However , i do not like too calculative people. ...I am glad that so far i'd met wonderful people in many parts of the world.!!!@

My couch is not available now because I had sold off my place. However, my uncle has a nice room in Botanical garden for rent. If you are coming to Penang, and like to live near the nature, hang out with the monkeys in the garden....This would be a great place to stay.!

Interests

-I have wide interests..from dancing cha-cha to bachata,cycling,swimming,cooking...

I enjoy cooking,normally simple oriental o western food.And, i love great books and both best of eastern and western philosophies. I believe in the art of softness and emptiness of the mind.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Shopping in London and the next minute ...I couch-surfed with a very friendly,God-sent lady stranger-shopper, that I just met!And the next thing was..I CS with her on that same evening & become great friends!

-Drive a motorbike on my own in Sapa valley!A girl who doesn't speak Vietnamese 'stealing' so much adventurous in a foreign land!Well, it was so fun and being mistaken for a tour guide.

-Midnight(11pm to 4am)cycling 57km on mooncake festival in Singapore.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I don't believe just surfing a free couch....but i believe in contributing.
So I always make it a point to get to know my host. Hang out with them...Cook for them....Bring my country to them, through cuisine etc. ...
THat's what this whole couch surfing should be about...
