About Me

CURRENT MISSION

making the best out of every single day

ABOUT ME

lets say, i'm not the usual Israeli guy (for the better...).

after discharging from the army, i went for 8 months of a crazy trip in South America , where i heard about €™ and met so many funny, nice, crazy, beautiful CSers. i had a lot of fun, and decided to take an active part within the organization. so, here i am... :)

i guess other people will say im friendly, social, liberal, communicating very good with other people, funny and easy - going.
i say im curious and ambitious to know, try and do interesting and/or crazy stuff in life and have new experiences.
i love to go out and have fun (clubing, bars, sports - name it), but don't worry i also know to go with the flow and chill if needed :) . check other stuff in Interests.
i like when things go by plan, but open-minded enough for some changes. i'm organized and like my surrounding tidy. i don't smoke cigarettes (maybe something organic? :) ).

don't know really what to write more...
just ask me when we meet or chat. you can also get an idea about me from references.

PHILOSOPHY

we live life once, so we need to live them fully :)

Every passing minute is another chance to change everything all around (i have this sentence as a Tattoo on my back).

the difficulty, is not finding what lies benethe your nose, but, to turn your nose to the right direction.

someone that didnt breathe the dust of the road, could not inhale the air of the summits

fear can hold you prisoner, hope can set you free

the past is history the future is a mystery, and today is a gift. this is why it's called PRESENT

It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye. (taken from: http://www.freewebs.com/shirtsleeves/quotes/littleprince.html)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i´ve heard about it from a german traveller in Chile. i went to meetings in groups of South America, and after my return i'm very active as a city ambassador of Tel-Aviv and Giv'atayim, as a Moderator in Israels' groups: the Israel, Tel-Aviv, Giv'atayim, Golden basket and Spanish groups, and as the organizer (and pioneer) of the CS Israel Monthly meeting (we had about 8 meetings until i had to quit due to studies). i was also a member of the international greeting group for a while. besides, going to events and of course hosting people when i can and surf myself.

Interests

trekking, hiking, traveling, views/scenery, landscape and nature - just name it. i might not doing it so often, but im adventurous, so when i do, i really like it :)
cultures, history - i like to learn or improve my knowledge about things around me in the world.
art (wathcing and doing) - i studied in a special high school for arts.
sports - i like mostly football, but also volleyball, tennis, swimming. i used to be a referee in football. i also like diving and extreme sports (not that i have done too much).
music - i like to sing (not that i'm that good, but good enough for karaoke:)) and play guitar (niether here im the best) and just listen to music when i can.
food and cooking - i might be a bit picky about food, but when i don't, i like to cook tasty one.
TV, movies, computer/video games, especially when you have someone to play with.
love to meet people, be with people, discussions (talk and listen), going out (drink & dance) and many many more, lets talk about it...

Music, Movies, and Books

movies: eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, matchpoint, the guardian, the prestige, star wars (the first origianl trilogy), 12 monkeys, the fith element, fight club, the shawshnek redemption, forrest gump, avatar, inception, the dark night, and many more, i love to see movies. usually - good action & drama. i find it hard to see "stupid" movies like American pie unless im in the good mood for that.

music: rock (almost all types), electronic, dacne, hip hop, pop, ragee and many more. i love music so much! actually, i'm not proud of that (because i didn't pay for all of that) but i have so many songs, that if i play them straight one after another - it will take about 65 days to hear them all!

books: this is my weakness, as i don't read a lot (YEAH - im a computer boy, and when i read, it's most of the time court verdicts), but when i do: "easy" romans, short stories, Paul Auster and basicly books that make me intrested enough to keep reading (im getting bored from books super fast --> have no idea how i survive in Law studies :) ).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

*being born to this world...
*see the beauty of mother nature
*to have those moments with people that you know that for those moments you are living for...
*to have a crazy, uncontrolled laugh
*to love
* a whole CS-based trip through the Netherlands

but if it´s action that you are seeking so:
i did skydiving and bungee jumping, but better than that, i once jumped from a 22m cliff in USA to a lake in an old quarry and it was totally freaky!!!!!!
(and risky, don't try at home)

the most amazing view i have seen was "Glacier Grey" after climbing the two hours "Paso climb" in the O circuit of Torres Del Paine,Chile. here some of it:

Teach, Learn, Share

i think that from every meeting with a new person (and also old ones) we can learn a lot, so try me...

What I Can Share with Hosts

i'm a very good listener, first, because i'm very curious, and second, because i care about people.
i always love to share stories, and tell funny things :)
i'm not chef, but i know to cook some stuff, and maybe i can cook some "shakshuka" for you.
i play a bit of guitar, and like to sing.
i like sports and to play games (not only video...), so maybe we can play together.

in summary - i guarantee you a fun time with me
