ABOUT ME

I've heard this once : "J'ai parfois l'impression de parcourir le monde à la recherche de nouveaux materiels pour de futures nostalgies" and I found that sadly true, but also truly inspirating. (In english it will be something like : "Sometimes, I do have the impression of travelling around the world searching for some material for futures nostalgias")

Easy going, funny, sociable, I do love meet new people and share with them what I have, what I (think) I know, and what I love.

I like and love a lot of thing. Maybe too much, that's why I am still wondering what I could do next in my professional life ! Food is certainly on the top list, with outdoor time (though I don't enjoy enough in my sense), beautiful landscape and swiming in nice areas. I enjoy discussion, not matter if they are philosophal, political, cultural or just talk (I MAY speak a lot sometimes. MAY :D)

And I like smart, funny, artistic, and sarcastic people.

Act with others as you want them to act with you.

I am also trying to evolve with more serenity, letting go what's not important and focus on experiences rather that materials (I guess that commun to everyone that enjoy travelling more than for holidays!).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I offer couch everywhere I've been in the world and where I could host :)I talk a lot to my friends of CS, so they can join and grow the community.

Outside the CS Community, I do host people who are dancing swing when there is events, friends oversees, students in my city and familly :) Unfortunately in the last year with the growth of our familly it is not possible anymore to host in our flat.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

At first, I hosted people in my beautiful city, Quebec. I really loved it (just aks my friends when I was about to host someone hehe). And then, I traveled with CS, so funny too ! My first experience was in Italia, Bergamo, with Anna, and she was AMAZING ! Until now, I did have really nice experiences, thanks to all those who hosted me !

Interests

I've too much, certainly it's the reason I only specialized in master degree!

I do love arts, mainly photography, cinema, dance, theater, circus, music, book, etc. etc.

I do love meeting news person, news culture, travel. Discover,

I do love science, knowing the way world goes.

I really do love outdoor sport, as hiking, conoeing etc. In fact I love the mountains as much as I love the water, but I need them to be healthy !

I think I really love beaches. For the sound of the ocean, for the walking on the wand, for the hapiness on everyone faces :) I say that 'cause once upon a time, I was alone at the beach, and I was : wow, I do really love being here, is so calm, so nice. Then I realised it was cloudy, raining a little bit, with a lot a wind and no sun at all... Just to say!

I do love learn. So much that after my master degree it took me a year and a half to start a new one (part-time) haha!

In fact, I enjoy museum as much I like to go to nightclub. Or play basketball, do conoeing/camping or going to movie theaters. Update : Nightclub are still in my likes even though it's been years I haven't been to one, and with a new member in the familly I guess it's going to be a few more years before I go!

Movies : Demain, The last Star Wars (joke!), Requiem for a dream, Le Diner de cons, Lord of the Ring, Good bye and Good luck, Frost/Nixon, Dogville, Crush, Babel, Blood Diamond, Maman est chez le coiffeur, The Nightmare before Chrismas, The Royal Affair, Joyeux Noël, and so many more. I do LOVE cinema, from anywhere in the world.

Music : Almost every style, but not everything ! From Aznavour to Rihanna, Artist of the year to Lily allen, ABBA to Buena Vista Social Club. Pierre Lapointe to System of a Down, Kayne West to Mozart, well I guess you understand..

Books : Amelie Nothomb, Pearl Buck (I discovered this one in a few Nobel prize of litterature, it's magic!), Alessandro Baricco, Jean-Jacques Pelletier, J.R.R Tolkien, John Steinbeck, one discovery : Jiro Asada and its novel on the 19 Century China...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing thing I've done was going on a outdoor trip, thinking I will do conoeing, which I love, but instead, we did hiking, which I really hate, until I reach the top of the mountain... Then I fall in love with hiking. I was SO beautiful, knowing you can't see this if you don't hike, cause there no other ways to go there.
