About Me

CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME

I am currently taking a sabbatical with my husband. We're spending June/July in the country Georgia, and Southeast Europe: Albania, Macedonia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Bosnia. This fall we'll be in Southeast Asia. We'd love to meet up if you're on the road or if you're willing to host us.

We are in the process of moving from Boston, MA to Colorado.

I have spent a lot time in Indonesia and New Zealand and love talking about those amazing places. And very happy to put you into contact to great people and surfers if you're planning a trip there!

PHILOSOPHY

"Many poets have asked us what we will do with our precious lives. Not the precious life that starts when I get out of here, when I make more money, when I get stronger-- no. This life. This one, extraordinary, unfettered, improbable, never-to-be-repeated-in-a-breath-just-like-this-one, wild and precious life. "

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Introductory coffees, CS gatherings in NZ & Indonesia, hosted CS parties in Indonesia, travelled with fellow CSers, and hosted some surfers with my housemates in Boston.

Excited to meet fellow surfers!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

meeting fantastic people who have shared different views and crazy experiences. a CSer even helped me find a wonderful house in Indonesia! And I met one of my roommates via CS (and she was a bridesmaid in our wedding) ... so I can say it's been a great way to meet awesome people..
