ABOUT ME

Born in Ontario, Canada to two Latvian parents. Lived in Germany, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Canada and Taiwan. I just finished my bachelor of education in Toronto and moved to Izmit, Turkey for a teaching position. Now, back in Toronto.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In the past, I haven't lived in an apartment where I was able to host. Also, recently I've travelled to countries where I can stay with friends. But many of my friends have been hosts and I have met many wonderful couch surfers. I look forward to hosting in the near future!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

hiking, trucking and rafting in northern India. family vacation and exploration in Eritrea. the endless Saudi sand dunes. Taroko gorge in Taiwan. sunrises and sunsets...anywhere and everywhere!

My boyfriend and I are learning salsa. We play guitar (he does much better than me) and sing. We are slowly learning Turkish and hope to improve it while we are living here.
