ABOUT ME

Just moved back to the USA after finally going on the two year roamabout I spent years dreaming about while working in a job I didn't enjoy after college. Can't believe it's over though- I'm like a junkie, constantly still checking travel and vagabonding websites or hanging out in the travel section of bookstores. I've been a captain in the US Army; I've sailed across the Pacific on a 45 foot sailboat; I love magic, juggling, and the circus; I love to scuba dive but am wary of the cold water around here and not sure when I'll go. I just moved to Brooklyn and will be starting grad school in the fall.

Some of my favorite authors are: P.K. Dick, Heinlein, Milton Friedman, Ayn Rand, Thomas Szasz, George RR Martin, Tad Williams, Tom Holland, Conn Iggulden, Jack Whyte, and Frank Herbert. I read a lot of fantasy, some sci-fi, and a decent amount of certain non-fiction.

Movies: True Romance, Very Bad Things, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Hard Candy, Lost Boys, Heartbreak Kid, Super Troopers, Wedding Crashers, City of God and many many others. I love movies, especially going to the movie theatre.
