HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to stay active on couchsurfing as a host or for giving any sort of traveling advice. I'm always up to meet new people! I've been hosted by some great folks and hope to return the experience. I haven't been active in very many local couchsurfing communities but, have always tried to help out travelers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

[Always help a travel out] I've been hosted by wonderful people in Europe and Japan as well as helped others find a place to stay in the US and South Korea. I've come across some really great couchsurfing communities but, I have mostly been a part of them in passing. I can't seem to stay put!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I've been watching a lot of Korean films lately. I've always had in interest in Anime. I love black and white movies and I'm trying to get into old westerns. Like I said I'm very easily entertained. I'll watch almost anything except horror films before bedtime. Sometimes action movies bore me.

I really like all kinds of music but, as of late I've been interested in female vocalists. Sometimes I feel like beats and sometimes I feel like metal.

I love reading and will read any book as long as I make it past the first few pages. Recently, while traveling I read any new book I could get my hands on but, I try to go for books recommended by friends. To name a few that some couchsurfers have recommended: 100 Years of Solitude, Murakami (most of his stuff), Master and Margarita. I love the classics but, I do enjoy plowing through an easy, cheesy read every now and then.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Once had to assist a pregnant friend deliver her baby in the back seat of the car on the way to the hospital while being chased by a police car on the freeway (the husband refused to stop). Probably my most frightening and memorable experience I've ever had.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I could probably teach you how to make a few Asian dishes and say a few Korean words. I love food and everything that goes with it which actually includes one of my passions - ceramics. I've worked a few greenhouse type of places and have tried to keep up with my knowledge of flora.

I always enjoy learning about animals and the surrounding nature of the place I'm at. I'd love to see your movie or book collection and peak at your garden. If you have a fish tank I could be entertained for a while. If you have other pets, I could be entertained for a long while.
