Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would love to have a couch to offer, but my housemates since I've heard of couch surfing haven't really approved- one day... until then I'm hoping some generous soles will put me up for a night or two wherever I end up- it tends to be on the end of research trips- once the comp has run out!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Celeste popped my couch surfing cherry... and it was a truly great experience. The setting (Alaska) was 1 thing, the companionship just made it even better.
Since then, becoming more active in the SF CS community- on both side of the bay... so many good people out there!

Interests

Being outdoors is my thing- hiking, biking, swimming, kayaking, diving, you name it + I'd probably be happy doing it. Love travelling but it seems a while since I've had that opportunity... although living in another country probably counts somewhat.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seen: Whale breaching infront of an inflatable boat- Where did he come from + more importantly which way should I turn!?!
Done: many a thing- most things are amazing in their own kind of way

I've really learnt that there's a lot of trustworthy people out there- I still keep my wits about me, but people's generosity never ceases to amaze me- it's really inspiring + supports the pay-it-forward attitude.
