ABOUT ME

What can I say? well, I can describe myself as a good little girl =) I like to learn new and different things, I am open to new ideas and experience new cultures.i study german philology and work at the same time,so i am in a hurry all the time, and so energetic if i could get a good sleep(which most of the time not possible, while i work at the night shifts),but try to enjoy the life in the whole. i love learning languages by myself, online or via other stuff, and if you want to talk about norse mythology, i am always here =) i always have time for a beer and nice conversations.

PHILOSOPHY

I dont think i have a personal philosophy, but i can say one should live in a peaceful and good mood, regret as less as one can, and have the ability to leave all the negative things behind and begin the day as a newborn, enjoy all the oxygen that is taken, enjoy the sunshine, and always look for the bright side.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Through CS I looked for a simple flatmate, but instead i met with an angel in human clothes =) i found my lovely ruth thanks to this organization, it was probably my best CS experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen music most of the time, even when i am sleeping. I listen to music according to my mood, when I am going to school in the morning, which means i should get awake, i listen to Blink 182, Dinosaur Jr,Green Day, Offspring, Weezer, Garbage, Queens Of The Stone Age or The Damned, and if I am awake but need some energy, Sisters of Mercy,The Cure, Bauhaus, Einstürzende Neubauten, in the evening for some chilling Nouvelle Vague, Hooverphonic, Jamiroquai, Oi Va Voi, and before i sleep Keren Ann, Paavoharju,Islaja, Sigur Ros, Kria Brekkan, Amiina, Slowblow, and everytime die Aerzte, Wir sind Helden, Depeche Mode or The Distillers...i read a lot and love the novels of paulo coelho, amin maalouf, and edgar allan poe. and when it comes to movies, i like most the european and korean movies. some favs: bagdad cafe(out of rosenheim), adams aebler, noi albinoi, juniper tree, snatch, as good as it gets, arizona dream, black cat white cat, amores perros, neverwas, voksne mennesker, the prestige, blood diamond,zoolander,etc.etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The new day rising. this is the most amazing thing that happens everyday, and just think if sun doesnt shine one day..like Sigur Ros says in Viðrar Vel Til Loftárása : "Það Besta Sem Guð Hefur Skapað Er Nýr Dagur" (the best thing god has created is a new day)...
