About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Hakuna Matata

ABOUT ME

Ive decided to turn my interest for culture and people into a lifestyle, and have no other plans for the moment but to see the world and meet the people in it. To me the only tangible things in life are realationships and experiences, and I hope to have a wealth in both! I'm active, adventurous and interested in just about anything really. Travel is the greatest education one can have, hopefully some day I'll return to the states with my doctorate...

PHILOSOPHY

Life's short, eat lots of good food

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surfed a ton on my two year walkabout around Australia and New Zealand, and since have been able to show a few people around my own beautiful area in the mountains of Montana.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Great ones. All of them.

Interests

OUTDOORS: I've grown up in an environment that has fostered a love for the outdoors, including: Fishing, hiking, camping, alpining, disc golf, ultimate frisbee, wakeboarding, slalom skiing, SNOWBOARDING, cross-country skiing, mountain-boarding, river rafting, and many others. I also have a strong desire to pick up rock climbing...

MUSIC: I spend way too much of my life researching this, but on the balance it's rewarding. I travel with 80gb of music for the ears of anyone who will listen...

TRAVEL: Obviously

WRITING: Ideally I would travel and write my entire life

COOKING: I guess just food in general really, but it's always much better when you know you made it

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Summiting the Middle Teton and glacading (sitting on your ass and sliding) down was a pretty ethereal experience.

I watched a buffalo... how do you say it politely? Make toilet? on a car in Yellowstone when I was working there.

I actually finished a rubix cube once

Teach, Learn, Share

Many practical skills from fishing and snowboarding to basic outdoorsmanship, and I'm pretty good at taking your taste in music and tweaking it into an area that'll make you love life just a little bit more. Also have a decent grasp on the English language through my studies, so if you need a little brushing up I'm a good teach.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bahamas, Belgium, Belize, Canada, Cayman Islands, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Grenada, Guatemala, Ireland, Mexico, Netherlands, Peru, Puerto Rico, Spain, Switzerland, Turks and Caicos Islands, United Kingdom, Vatican City State

Countries I’ve Lived In

Honduras, Italy, New Zealand, United States
