About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live life and enjoy every second of it!

ABOUT ME

"I know one thing, that I know nothing" 31 years old, and so much to see! I cannot imagine my life without this urge to learn which impels me to read, travel and talk to different people in order to broaden my horizons! Even though I have two Bachelor degrees, I feel so much prouder about my travels than, in fact, those two diplomas... They have, however, enabled me to work as a teacher, which is awesome, 'cos I looooove kids! Apart from talking about all sorts of stuff with semi-strangers all over the world, I also like to reflect on my experiences and write, write, write!

PHILOSOPHY

Carpe diem
Memento vivere
Dum vivimus, vivamus

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By helping without hoping to be helped!!! People have been so amazingly good with me during my travels, that I feel I need to give the world so much!! honestly, i cannot explain how grateful i am to all those people who I have met in my travels, no matter whether it was just a couple of hours or some days... I will carry them in my hearts forever!
thats why I would like to offer my couch, or simply just a coffee or a drink... lets change ideas, experiences, points of view! lets grow together!

BUT: recent overflow of requets has made me realize couchsurfing is no longer what it used to be. I believe it should be a real cultural exchange, not just a free airbnb! I will not accept any requests from people who do not follow the initial guidelines given out by CS at the very beginning, that is, write a personalized request (not just a copypaste that you are also sending to other people at the same time); only contact people with whom you think you might get along, or with whom you think you have things in common, or who you would like to meet.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Amaaaaaaaaaaaazing. Whilst traveling on my own in SE Asia I found some very good creatures who helped me out. I learned about a lot of stuff which i probably wouldn't have known if i hadn't met them. i will never forget the people who hosted me, or the conversations we had and the stuff i learned from them.... the same happened to me while couchsurfing i morocco... every time i travel i marvel at the amount of good people there are on this world.....cs rocks, and i could not imagine my life without it! it is one of internet's greatest advantages.....oh yeah!

Interests

Poetry, literature, history, art, politics..... meeting people... sharing new experiences.... overcoming the perpetual fear that haunts us day after day and that tries to prevent us from trying new things out and growing!!!
To learn, learn, learn... By meeting new people and getting to know other ways of thinking; by reading; by experiencing...

Life: a perpetual search of improving ourselves!!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Gone up to 4200 metres in the Aconcagua, Argentina! Hitch hiked and had no plans for over two months. Rode and elephant in the jungle in Chiang Mai. Lived in Phnom Penh. Lived in Melbourne. Surfed in Australia. Fell in love. Felt my heart break. And fell in love again. Caught a plane to the other side of the world not knowing what would await me. Cried tears of sorrow-alone; this made me stronger. Went rafting in Pai. Met some awesome people in my travels who I -most probably- will never see again. (But they will stay in me forever). Saw a whale jump out of the water while smoking on a cliff. Lived in Barcelona- and left before it made me too hard. Traveled to Morocco-and learned more about kindness and hospitality than in year after year of university life. Hitch-hiked again. Fell in love, said goodbye to friends i thought i would never see again. Found one of them in the 9000 street medina and cried tears of sorrow at depart .Came back to hometown, Palma, and am now rediscovering the beauty of my island. Mallorca, mon amour, at last.
