ABOUT ME

I have been creating with cameras and computers for more than ten years ,I am also a teacher of filmmaking. I used to study Philosophy but got sick of the University and continued by myself, I have my own production house "Huitlacoche Films" we make natural and social documentary films. I am very interested in all forms of art, art history, and art experimentation (that means slacking off). Melomaniac, kind of paranoid (in a cute way), really good at procrastination and sarcasm and I love the use of parenthesis (really).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think couchsurfing is a great way to meet people and share, I love sharing.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love the CS project! Meetings and more meetings! I have a great time hosting and meeting different people all the time, mi casa es tu casa hermano.

Interests

Creation, seeing, listening, touching, cinematographic language, haiku, entropy, reflections, light, pointless conversation, music, the poetic act, sculptures, coffee,tequila,whisky, fluxes, the past , present and future of art, talking to the wind, listening to the water, seeing fire, walking, getting lost, stare at anything. Image and sound.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
I listen to a lot of music. Mostly Classic Rock like Zeppelin or Pink Floyd and Jazz any Jazz from Coltrane to Screaming Headless Torsos, now I am hooked on electronic and concrete music.

Screen forms are my work, I have spent a lot of time in front of the screen, not in a sane way, I admire a lot of film makers: Jan-Luc Godard, Chris Marker, Andrei Tarkovsky, Bill Viola, P.T. Anderson, Bruce Nauman, Nam June Paik, Buñuel, Kubrick, too may to name.
