ABOUT ME

I love life
I love people
I will probably love you
Unless you're a jerk.

PHILOSOPHY

Every day is a new opportunity to learn, grow, and change-- To step outside our comfort zones and stretch the boundaries of what and who we think we are.

Life is a series of choices. We may not always choose our experiences but we choose how to react to each situation that life hands us. We choose what we put out into the world.

My moment here is less about collecting accomplishments or tangibles and more about collecting experiences. I aim to embrace the human experience- to grow from it, to learn from it and to be a little better every day. So I can, in turn, help make someone or something a little better.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books:
I like literary fiction and poetry. I like stories about travel and coming of age stories. I like strange stories and I like books about interesting characters. I love words. I love words strung together. If I could live off of books, I would.

Music:
I like to dance. A lot. So anything I can dance to. Or anything with good lyrics I can listen to.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watched a midnight sunset while sailing to Iceland

Got stuck in an elevator in New Orleans

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach a bit about: phenomenological research methods, brain injury, neuropsychology, IQ tests, prader-willi syndrome, rorschach tests, child psychopathology (all so delightful- I know) Uh... polka?

Would like to learn: some new yummy recipes, a little more guitar, and anything you are willing to teach.

Sharing is caring: creative collaboration makes my day. I have an array of musical instruments, acrylic paints, writing utensils, and ingredients at my house. Let's experience something.
