Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Participate the local events where I live and when traveling. Surf, host, spread the word.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In summer 2008 I've traveled all over Europe, stayed at the places of 16 members in 6 different countries and generally had great time with every single one of them. That's how it all started.

music: mostly nordic bands; stratovarius, persuader, kreator, kalmah, catamenia, shade empire, eternal tears of sorrow, trail of tears, siebenbürgen, old man's child, tristania, dissection, draconian, illnath, graveworm, novembre, agathodaimon, equilibrium, haggard and so on.

movies: like psychothriller and related stuff the most, but don't limit myself to that. stanley kubrick would be my favorite director. the killing, pi, requiem for a dream, barry lyndon, a clockwork orange, the shining, funny games, le temps qui reste, dogville, the machinist, the tenant, fight club, seven, el secreto de sus ojos, oldboy.

if black mirror episode "white christmas" were released as a movie, it would probably be at the top of this list.

books: douglas adams, edgar allan poe, franz kafka, george orwell, cemal süreya, sabahattin ali.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Revontulet, Machu Picchu, flying a stunt plane over Wanaka, Tuska 2008, night cruise in St Petersburg, Gullfoss covered in white, becoming a Väinämöinen. Many wonderful places in many different countries.
