COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Very positive- I've met up with travelling CSers while I was visiting Croatia. And have been to CS events in other countries.

Interests

Winter and summer activities- dancing, sailing, skiing. Reading, knitting, gardening and environmental issues are quiet time interests. I like to wander through different neighbourhoods, go to dance bars instead of clubs, listen to live music and when the weather's nice, sit out on a patio and watch the world go by.

Music, Movies, and Books

Not much of a movie watcher but I do like action films. Latin music lately and friends keep me up to date on the indie music scene. Variety of books, usually fiction. On my shelf I have paulo coelho books, charles de lint, art books, marine biology, language books, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Taught English in Japan, climbed Mount Fuji, shark spotted while scuba diving, hiked the Inca trail, learned to drive a motorbike, road trip through the Yukon and Alaska....

Teach, Learn, Share

I have knowledge (basic to more advanced) for a few languages. I've learned scuba, salsa, sailing, knitting/ crocheting and coached track and cross country. I can tell you about some of the quirky little areas in Toronto.
