Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

First time was in August 2008 in Turku, Finland. I was already for about 10 days in the country, but as soon as I did couchsurfing I got to know the culture much better.

When I'm at home I try to organize some meetings to mix up the cs lucerne group.

josh from Canada surfed our guest room for about 6 days, Tarun from India was here for 3 nights.

During my 4 month placement in Paris I was able to host from time to time.

I surfed in Turku, Rovaniemi, Uppsala, Aalborg, Kopenhagen, Kiruna, Malmö, Istanbul and Beirut.

My first CS experiment was without CS!?
As a young teene I was looking for a cheap place to learn English. language schools are expensive and inefficient. Instead I maild to about 20 gliding clubs and asked for a place to sleep and speak. As rewared I offerd to maintain gliders. The surry hills club garanted me asylum. It was marvelous! I practiced a lot. And those crazy English invited me for several flights!
