About Me

CURRENT MISSION

T.B.D., but it definitely involves travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I enjoy answering questions for people about Dublin & Ireland, meeting up for coffee or a drink or showing people around my city.

When I'm not traveling (I travel a lot for work and for fun), I am very happy to meet up with couchsurfers!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My experience so far has been mostly meeting people for drinks, food, or coffee, and showing them around Dublin as well as a lot of hosting people.

CouchSurfing also introduced me to hitchhiking, which I had never done before!

Interests

Pretty much anything and everything. I love cooking, music, bicycling, running, dancing, sailing, swimming, surfing, anything outdoors, reading, internet-ing and general computer nerd activities. Ireland is great for water sports like surfing and sailing (even scuba diving), and I just started kite surfing which is a lot of fun.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love foreign films, documentaries and quirky indie films. Don't really watch TV (but I became addicted to Eurovision this year!). Magazine junkie. I am obsessed with music and love all music except country.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once went trekking by myself into the middle of nowhere in the Amazon for several days with only a guide, a machete and a live chicken. The chicken didn't come back (but she was delicious).

Teach, Learn, Share

Hmm, I can teach how to cook a variety of cuisines including French, Spanish, Thai and Italian. I love cooking with people even though my kitchen is small. I also know all the good restaurants in Dublin so if you need recommendations you can ask me. I can probably give you recommendations on live music any night of the week as well.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Botswana, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, Dominica, France, Germany, Iceland, India, Ireland, Italy, Malta, Martinique, Mexico, Namibia, Netherlands, Norway, Peru, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom, Vatican City State, Zambia, Zimbabwe
