ABOUT ME

Being human is a cool experience to me. Real experiences -the good, the bad, the ugly all fit together in a mysterious manner. Learning to be equally respectful of self and others is a journey worth taking.

-I love life and it's many different components...
-married - 30 years in 2010
-Parent to 4 kids is fabulous. 1 at home, 1 in culinairy school, 1 in grad school, 1 under employed in California. I am so happy that all 4 "kids" are crazy about each other -most of the time.
I love to travel see different places,
I love thunder and lighting,
I love reading
It is easy for me to interact with people,
I love nature, music of many kinds.
I love to try new foods, hear about other people's interests, and perspectives.

I believe in getting to know one's self and being comfortable with the real person. It is good to respectfully voice our opinions as intensely as we sincerely feel them. No need to exaggerate or minimize our sincere gut feelings. Just state them as they are. AND I believe we should eagerly listen to other peoples opinions and evaluate to see if our opinion should be revised or maintained.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have enjoyed every part of CS: Hosting, Surfing, Group Meetings, Volunteering as a New Member Greeter, Emailing around the world in my baby Spanish, Assisting people with info etc. Human connections are uplifting in life. We all have so much in common.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My son has had good experiences with couch surfers; he introduced me to CS. My CS experiences just keep expanding and continue to enrich my life. And I have communicated with people via CS all around the world for a variety of reasons. Human connections are uplifting in life. We all have so much in common. WE WILL HAVE TO CONNECT IF WE WANT TO SOLVE OUR COMPLEX PROBLEMS. I am a Couch Surfer New Member Welcomer.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I couch surf!!! I lived in Holland from age 4 until college. I spent my winter holidays in a German castle Youth Hostel with 60 family friends. Gave birth to 4 wonderful kids. I followed a large green Iguana around Dominica for a 1/2 hour. I saw the midnight sun in Iceland. I temporarily lost my shoe on a glacier in Switzerland. I spend many afternoons in the company of awesome children. I picked beautiful, bright lemons in California, apples & strawberries in NY, pears, & blackberries in TX and blueberries in Belgium and tulips in Holland. I have fallen in love with the crystal clear moon shining all around me.

How to relax during labor -4 births-no drugs- It is really really possible to give birth even though the medical world makes you think it is not.
I know a bit about "World Cafe" -group problem solving techniques. How to Skype. How to cook some wonderful cornbread and Banana Nut Bread.
