About Me

CURRENT MISSION

experience the world, to meet people and make conections.

ABOUT ME

Im a bit of a lost girl looking for the ticket to the train that takes you to the path that leads to the boat that sails to the place that I wanna be. But I'm not even sure I want to be there yet. There are sooooo many places that I may want to be, or at least to see, but I'v got to see the others before making up my mind! I'm starting to get more creative....

I love working with the earth and am spending my time working on an organic farm in the Delta at the mouth of the Fraser river!

At the moment I am back In the home land working on a farm! Loving it!
we have a spare room and two couches waiting to be surfed!

PHILOSOPHY

love, live, laugh!
READ
try no to be so serious all the time (note to self)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music? Well i play guitar so i enjoy things that i can connect to by being able to play. I like everything from folk to dub step to exotic sounds of far away. I'm blessed to have access to my dad's EPIC collection of vinyl at their cabin the BC. theres gotta be around 8000? someone tried to organise it alphabetically...it kinda stayed that way.

the Classics. Bob Dylan, Joplin, Dr Hook, The Band (The weight makes me shiver!), Van Morisson, Bonnie Raitt, Bon Iver, Gillian Welch, Heart, Neil Young, Grateful Dead, Traveling Wilburys ( OH IT GOES ON!)
I love me some jazz (French quarter style, Chicago style, West coast revival) Etta James rocks my hand knit socks off! of course the great Ray Charles.

More modern stuff like Mumford and Sons, Eddie Vedder, This is the Kit, Tool, Alela Diane, Goodbye Blue Monday, Blind Pilot, Jack Black, Noel Gallagher, Thom Yorke, Radiohead, Little feet, Flaming Lips...

and even the inbetween stuff like tarryn the tailor ( awsome stuff)

but on the other hand i LOVE electronic music and the vibrations it gives off. stuff like Krytic Minds, Entheogenic, Blutech and Shulman... i feel it is the music of ENDLESS possibility and has given humans a new form of communication. (*starry look to the left....remembering forest parties*)
and you cant deny that Dub FX has some maaaad skills

everything and anything that teaches. i try to pick a subject. read ALOT about it them move on to the next. right now im im on a bit of an Immanuel Kant binge and have been learning about radical theology.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

being caught in a sand storm in the desert. walking blindly until i tripped on a guy serving ice cream. cherries included. even though this was burning man it still tickled my soul.

standing on the western most point in europe(portugal) and feeling the wind. the wind that made people think it was the end of the world.

driving across the canadian praries in the snow... that was an adventure for sure!

Teach, Learn, Share

deconstruct systems of control and find the Blissful Void. let go. experience the freedom that nihilism has to offer. NOTE redefine Nihilism from an emptiness to be filled with life's' entrapments TO mean a form or release that brings an enhanced freedom of expression.

we are not in control of everything we do, however, we do possess the only true freedom and that is the one of our reactions.
learn all you can. we dont know why we are here, but we wouldnt be so darn interesting if there was no reason.
