About Me

CURRENT MISSION

time travel!

ABOUT ME

I'm rarely happy staying in one place or doing one thing for too long. It's like I have ants in my pants, ALL THE TIME. I laugh at inappropriate times and at inappropriate jokes. I haven't outgrown my childhood ticklishness and still squirm when getting haircuts. I still play with tech deck skateboards when no one's looking. I'm very easily influenced. Often I'll go out and buy a chocolate bar that was just advertised on tv. Oh, and I have an unhealthy dependence on chocolate. I act first, then think. Getting better at that though. I don't like making plans. Especially while travelling. I go where the wind takes me. Sometimes that's outside a train station at 4 in the morning with no money, no credit cards, nothing to eat in the foreseeable future and no place to sleep. I'm not a big fan of money. Unfortunately the things I want to experience require it. I have a terrible sense of direction and get lost at least once in every city. I'm almost always up for trying something new. I used to think people were always out for themselves and wouldn't lend a helping hand unless it benefited them. Then I started couchsurfing...

PHILOSOPHY

-No guts, no glory.
-Fake it till you make it
-Life is what happens while you're busy making other plans.
-It's better to regret something you did than something you didn't do.
-"It takes a big man to cry, but it takes a bigger man to laugh at that man." - Jack handy

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

St-Catherine Street in Montreal after the Canadians won game 7 vs. Washington. red Bull Crashed Ice event in Quebec city. Spent a whole night in Niagara falls dressed in my dinosaur costume. Saw the guy who makes $180 000/year from jacking coins from the trevi fountain in Rome, AND GOT HIS PICTURE! Spent 3 days hitchhiking from Paris to London. Got refused entry into the U.S. because " America already has enough hitchhikers." Milked cows for 3 months to get second Australian visa. Planked the olympic rings in Whistler. Quit alcohol for all of 2012. Got kicked out of Disney World. Biked from Vancouver to Calgary then Thunder Bay to Montreal.
