About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Make new friends around the world & to discover all this amazing world

ABOUT ME

MY TRAVEL BLOG

"I think I'm an easy guy to live with."
I try to treat life as an adventure. An adventure that is somehow completely whimsical and deadly serious at the same time.
I like talking with people and some times like this moment with some animal

I'm always having new projects, my mind is working every time in order to create new stuff, I love people, cooking, music, (reading...I want to do one thousand things at the same time.......), arts, travels of course,
I enjoy everything in life!!
And of course i want to travel more and more...!!!
.

PHILOSOPHY

Take time to enjoy the simple things.
Friends, family and my dreams are to important to be treated like a garden.
I try to do that one that I am afraid and you attract what you focus on

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

The real goldmine of CS to me isn't even the free couches, it's the access to the locals organizes - cheap food and local theater events at local places tourists usually don't find - CS doesn't come with the normal "getting to know you" "make time in my schedule" baggage that normal acquaintances come with. There is a certain kind of person that is open to this experience. Most people are not or find it "interesting" but would never do it. I think it also poses a challenge to what we normally think of as friendship. Community is a way more than people sleeping on your couch. It's being able to feel like a local wherever you go, having access to locals wherever you go, and giving visitors a local perspective when they visit wherever you call home. I'm super passionate about local food. It's a huge part of what I experience when I'm travelling and at home. I love to show people local places that they wouldn't discover as tourists, that's what we like to do when we travel. Is true that I know more places in Spain that in Ireland but, anyway I can show you some places.
What I love about hometrading, like CS except you are in each other's place at the same time, is how you get to live in a local neighborhood of a city rather than the tourist center. I share lots of local information and get to experience different cities as locals and I try to participate as much CS events as I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I backpacked from the time I was 15. When i wrote my travel column, I always had to immediately break away from the tourists. I always meet someone local and fun, stayed with them a few days or just be shown around. Then when they visited me depending where I was living I meet up again and I showed them around like they did for me.
This would be as an exchange, which is sort of like what we now do with hometrading.
