About Me

UPDATE April 2018: Just made the permanent move to Haines, Alaska!

CURRENT MISSION

2015 - Trip around the world to 50+ countries
2016 - U.S. Fulbright to Polotsk, Belarus
2017 - Moved back to Germany to work in Munich
2018 - Finding a way to connect my European life with my Alaskan dreams

ABOUT ME

Raised in California but have lived in Germany, Russia, Siberia and Belarus. Traveled around the world in 2015 to create a documentary and book showing that regardless of cultural differences, humans as a whole are all striving for similar goals and passions in life no matter what country they are from, religion they are or color they may be. My biggest realization from my international experience has been that most all people are good-hearted and loving and that's what I strive to show in my documentary. You can discover more at my website and maybe even take part in the project if I happen to be in your area! http://www.worldasonemedia.com and http://www.facebook.com/WorldAsOneMedia

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To connect with internationally minded people and share life stories, passions and experiences.

Interests

Connecting with local people rather than seeing famous sites.

Traveling to uncommon and off the beaten path destinations.

Imaging what my life would be had I been born and raised in the country I'm currently traveling in.

Playing sports and sharing this passion for sports with others who do as well.

Capturing an experience to share it with others who weren't able to experience it first-handedly.

Waking up in the morning and being happy about what I'm going to do today.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Connect with people from all over the world. Move to countries where I didn't know the language and persevere long enough to not only learn the language but also assimilate into the local way of life. These experiences have made me who I am and have given my life-long friends from all corners of the map.
