ABOUT ME

After a quick-start career right after school including rushing through study and getting a well payed job I now try to slow down life and looking forward to learn more "serious" stuff.

Currently my main focus is on establishing the "museum of capitalism" in Berlin which is quite an ambitious project I started with some friends 1 year ago.
Besides that I am working part-time and studying for my master.

I am quite involved in political work here in Berlin and spend a lot of time on that and discussion about it.

Besides that my main objective is to have a happy life. When there is something in the way of achieving that, I usually draw mind-maps or (since I am a programmer) I design algorithms in my mind. And then I just run them =)

Oh, I mentioned I am a programmer: I am very fascinated by everything concerning maths and computer science or also science in general. So, yes, sometimes I can be a geek =)

Currently I am studying for a Master in computer science and at the same time working as a freelancer, doing some programming work. I like functional programming and want to develop more scalable software in the future.

PHILOSOPHY

I care about a lot about other people and animals living on that earth and try to think about what I can contribute to a better world.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am interested in meeting people with different backgrounds/origins. I use CS for surfing and hosting. Also i am sometimes actives in some cs - group.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I went with couchsurfing through poland, hungary istanbul and I had a lot of couchsufers in the different flates I lived.

Interests

I am interested in politics. Friends would describe me as an "activist". I try not just to think accordingly, but also to actually do something or organize own ideas. My main idea is actually that people have to organize themselves and not let themselves be organized by the ones in power. like this we can make a real change..

As I mentioned I want to happy in life. I try to meet a lot of people, go out quite often and try to discover new stuff. That is where I get my inspiration. And I enjoy hanging out with my friends having discussions, wachting movies and talking random stuff =).

Music, Movies, and Books

i am fascinated by the ideas of Hofstadter (Gödel, Escher, Bacher; I am a strange loop). It is about recursions and how science, life and computers are connected. My favorite painter is Escher. I also have a Escher tattoo. Yes, and it can sound weird, but i feel really good watching recursions in a painting, in code, in a sculpture or just in life.

As music i prefer Metal, Ska, Reggea and Rock in general, but that is not very strict and for party i usually go to partys with electronic music.

Teach, Learn, Share

Now that i have finished my study, i would like to start learning spanish. And then I will study for my master. But also in the meantime I wil learn some random stuff.

I also like to pick up phrases in other languages, but more important i want to learn from different cultures !

I can teach you everything concerning you computer(counting binary :P) At least in Berlin I can show you how you can live by getting food from a dumpster.
