About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Impress myself. And leave the country at least once a year. Or twice...

ABOUT ME

I used to work full time at Temple University, but gave up the regular work life to travel the world. My girlfriend and I bought one way tickets to Hong Kong and are still on the journey.

I love to rock climb, and want to get more outdoor sport climbing experience. I enjoy NHL (go Penguins!), good food and beer, traveling, hanging out with friends, camping, reading interesting books, and adventures, just to name a few.

Philadelphia is a cool town, with good people. Whether I am at home or on the road, I'm always trying to seek out new experiences and make new connections.

PHILOSOPHY

Jesus had good teachings on how to live.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to host when I'm at home. It's great to meet people with new stories, languages, travels, and culture. If you surf with me, bring stories! Or a dish from your homeland. Or just yourself! This is a cultural exchange just as much as a hospitality exchange.

While I'm traveling, I love to stay with a local and experience my visit in a totally unique way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I did couchsurfing on my round the world trip. That was in 2008. I've had some amazing hosts. My hosts have put a whole new spin on my trip and it's incredible. Now when I travel, I always try to surf.

I've now live in a place that's good for hosting and I've been getting lots of requests!

Interests

Travel, obviously. I love to read, watch new films, meet new people, eat at exotic and interesting restaurants and play music.
