ABOUT ME

I love to run. I am a very easy going person and very personable. I love grabbing coffee with people and chatting about their life. I love movies and will watch a movie with anyone at any time. Granted, I often fall asleep in movies when they are started at 10 pm. I am a huge fan of outdoor activities. I am very much a kid at heart so I will drag you outside to have fun. I absolutely love meeting new people! If you bring music I will ask to hear it because I love music and I love finding new music. I am a big fan of going to concerts and finding live music on the weekends. You can never have too much music. I don't really watch TV as I don't have the time and never really have had the time. I didn't have cable until I was 19 years old. I have never been out of the country but have been dying to leave and explore. I love hearing other peoples stories of their travels because there is nothing like seeing someone smiling when they reminiscent past memories. I love making people laugh and try to be as spontaneous and as adventurous as possible. I want to be a brain surgeon and have known I wanted to be a doctor since I was 8 when I saw my father save someone in Harris Teeter. I absolutely love big cities! I have been in Chapel Hill for too long and hope to move into a big city after undergrad. I absolutely love cooking though I am not the world's best chef but love to learn new recipes!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My best friend told me about couching surfing after having an incredible experience. I decided to sneak off to DC the last weekend in July with my best friend and couch surfed for the first time. I had an incredible experience and hope to travel all over the US and all over this world through couching surfing. My favorite part about couch surfing is the conversations you have with each person. I find that there is a real joy in meeting people.

Interests

Anything and everything but to rule it down a little: I love running. I love music, especially live music. I love movies. If I could afford to see a movie every Friday night at the theater I would.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love fantasia (there is something about mickey mouse dancing that makes me happy). I love the Incredibles and Ratatouille. On a less child-like note, I love bad action movies, meaning the classic action movie that has the same type of plot. A recent movie I saw that I enjoyed was 21.
As for music, well I would rather talk about my love for music in person as there is not enough room here to describe how much I love music. A favorite though currently is Tilly and the Wall as I just went to one of their concerts and had the time of my life. Though if I had a choice, I would have loved to be alive in the 70s.
