Chi sono

CURRENT MISSION

To seek out the best in anyone. And to unwrap your onion-like personality in a most unorthodox style.

ABOUT ME

I have a strong sense of self and I'll try to make a concise list that helps you understand my peculiar character:
-I am a Cape Bretoner, a Nova Scotian, and a Canadian and refuse to rank one over the other.
-I am a wearer of hats, dependant on pomp and circumstance.
-I am a board/card game connoisseur, crossword puzzle amateur and adventure œdevelopeur.
-I am an old-fashioned farm equipment enthusiast and occasional lumberjack.
-To quote the Bard, ''What's in a name?'' but if adventure's got a name it's Indiana Jones, and who doesn't like his theme song?
-I take pleasure in walking with a cane as Hercule Poirot or an umbrella like The Penguin.
-I enjoy sneaking around (pretending to be undercover) humming the 007 or Pink Panther theme.
-Sherlock Holmes is the master of disguise, hands down.
-I am your friend until you prove me wrong.
-I am a Disney knight and minstrel.
-I adore the pirate theme of Monkey Island and the romance of King's Quest.
-Nobody fights a BBEG (big, bad, evil guy) like Link.
-I sometimes turn to someone and with a diabolical grin ask, ''“Why so serious?'' Although, ''“All the world's a stage,'' I suppose.
- I believe in destiny (and I don't want to say more than that just yet because I still have one more Harry Potter book left to read).
-I am a hitch-hiker in the crudest sense and a gentleman-of-the-road in the gentlest.
-I am a self appointed professor of language and culture.
-I am a companion of the eldest ladies and gentlemen.
-I believe that ''A person's a person no matter how small.'' (And a Caper's a Caper from autumn to fall.)
-I believe goodness will eventually conquer evil and darkness will be swallowed by the light, consult The Lord of the Rings for more details.
-I am a Roman Catholic, by birth and by choice. I wish to become like the Bishop of Digne from Les Misérables.
-I am frugal but not like Scrooge. I'll give you my last dollar. (Was there ever a better man than Bob Cratchit or a boy more special than Tiny Tim?)
-No dance beats a Cape Breton Square Dance and that's not just an opinion. It's like Old Fezziwig's in A Christmas Carol.
-And nothing is worse than the dance around the mulberry bush: following the social script of meaningless conversation (where people ask questions about what they don't actually care about).
-I admire patriots, veterans and heroes (like Terry Fox).
-I laugh at Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies, but who wouldn't smile at Foghorn Leghorn and Wile E. Coyote?
-A pillow fight NEVER requires justification.
-Is there an automobile classier than a gangster car from the 1930s?
-Neat, a light saber would be. Wishful thinking, my dreams of being a Jedi are.
-I am a kid at heart and love hanging out with kids. And tell me, guys and gals, is there a better kids„' story than The Chronicles of Narnia? (No spoilers, I've only read a few.)
-I'll water anyone's garden, especially the garden in your heart. I also believe in unconditional love. But that's the only kind anyway.
