I think I'm a friendly easy-going person. I studied mechanical engineering, and tried to study law but because I'm the laziest person in the world, this didn't end well. I like going out with friends and traveling of course! If you play an instrument we could make music together. I play guitar and write songs.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to host people whenever I can. It's always been fun so far! Sometimes I can't host anyone because I'm working but I'm almost always up for a coffee in the center.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hm...interesting question. I can only remember good experiences, always met nice and open minded people on the CouchSurfing Network. When I arrived in a foreign city I never felt alone, always had lots of fun and found new friends through groups and events created by CouchSurfing members.

Interests

Sailing!!!! It's my favorite hobby! Are there any sailors around here?
I love music and I play guitar! That doesn't mean I'm good at playing guitar, it only means that I like it.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: White Squall, Wind, The Fast and the Furious I-... I really don't watch movies often, so it's easy to remember good ones^^ but I prefer television series like CSI, Lie to Me, Burn Notice, Crossing Jordan, Boston Legal, Dr. House and I recently discovered that iZombie is funny too.

Music: My taste in music ist somehow extraordinary! I just love Affirmation by Savage Garden! It‘s the best song ever!
I like almost every kind of music may it be country, folk, classic or rock but I prefer rock. I even listen to Schlager sometimes .... on really rare occasions :)
I enjoy listening to youtube artists and love to play guitar but never found the courage to post a music video myself. I guess that is why I subscribed to all those talented people's channels ;)

Books: My favorite books are „Maiden Voyage“ by Tania Aebi, „A Passion for the Sea“ by Jimmy Cornell, „The Cellist of Sarajevo“ by Steven Galloway, „Shadow Man“, „The Face of Death“, „The Darker Side“ by Cody McFadyen and the whole „I heart“ series by Lindsey Kelk. I'm reading pretty much and can talk about books for hours.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once ... in the band camp ... f**k, can't I just leave this one blank? There are just too many fantastic things I could tell you about, but better leave those stories for some boring night at the pub, hm?

Teach, Learn, Share

Hm...what could I teach you? Sailing, playing guitar , finding back home while being drunk, .... and yeah - I can definitely show you how to have fun!
