ABOUT ME

If I have to define myself, above all, I should say I feel Mediterranean. Maybe, because I grew up close to the sea or because as a child I went to play on the beach with my family, but when I travel and I smell pine trees, or fresh fish, it feels like home. I don't know how I got started traveling, but I know it also comes from childhood. When I listened to Ulysses' adventures, his incredible trips in Mare-Nostrum, I realized that fascinating universe was just in front of my window. Since then, I have had the curiosity to want to know what's on the other side of the sea, beyond that mountain or over the horizon. With time, the world has gotten smaller after each trip. But at the same time and through experience I have learned that I'm not looking for places, but rather the people who live in them and the interaction produced. The most valuable present is the friendship that can arise after these meetings. There lies the essence of traveling.

Well, since I remember, before couchsourfins.com exists, I have been visiting friends and hosting friends in my apartment. Now it’s easier and quick with the web, but the idea and spirit it's the same. Friendship.
