ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in the city of Sao Paulo Brazil. So I grew up a city girl, used to getting around, to a lot of people, to diversity, public transportation and traffic! I have been living in the United States for the past 20 years and I live in Northern California. Traveling, meeting different people and learning about other cultures are my greatest passions.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live about half way between San Francisco and Sacramento in the beautiful wine country (Napa Valley, Fairfield, Suisun City, Vacaville area, Travis AFB area). I work full time but if I have time I would love to show you around.

There is not very good public transportation around here so car is your best bet; you can stop by here if you intend to visit Napa or if you are going to SFO. We are also just a few hours away from beautiful Lake Tahoe, casinos and great skiing/snowboarding. Also Six Flags about 15 minutes away in Vallejo. Contact me for more tips. :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met people in my local area, helped a few people who visited the Bay Area and participated in CS events.
I have also surfed a little myself.
I love CS!

** I HAVE BEEN ON COUCHSURFING SINCE 2008 AND I WOULD LIKE TO CLARIFY THE FRIEND/REFERENCE SYSTEM TO HELP NEW MEMBERS KEEP THE SYSTEM EFFECTIVE: THIS SITE IS BASED ON A REFERENCE SYSTEM AND NOT A FRIEND REQUEST SYSTEM LIKE OTHER SOCIAL MEDIA SITES SUCH AS FACEBOOK OR INSTAGRAM ** It is less relevant how many friends one has and more relevant if the person has met others in person (traveled with, hosted, surfed, met in person) and if references were left. LEAVE ACCURATE AND INFORMATIVE REFERENCES WHEN YOU MEET OTHERS SO WE CAN USE THE SITE PROPERLY. It is not enough to befriend someone... if you met them, have a good experience and would overall trust them, leave the proper reference so they can continue building their network as well.

Also, nothing wrong with people meeting and clicking in whatever way consenting adults see fit, but this is NOT A DATING site.

I watch Seinfeld, Simpsons, and Sex and the City, This is Us.

I have a very ecletic music taste: i like to listen to Brazilian music, Shakira and newer stuff like whatever is playing on the radio. I also love to dance to hip-hop and reggaeton. I love some old school Cuban/Latin music too. Currently obsessed with Afrobeats!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have traveled around a little by myself, learned how to speak another language (or 2)... made lots of friends!! In 2022 I climbed Mount Kilimanjaro. Still so so much more to do :)
