CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is the same as my Life mission to carry on learning as much as I can from all sources but particularly from interaction with people from all cultures and backgrounds " to walk with Kings nor lose the common touch "

ABOUT ME

I have retired early my youngest children live with their mother my eldest works in London, I was in the Army for 12 years and worked in a variety of jobs window dresser, store manager, decorative artist, bar manager, event coordinator for about 30 years, loved the Army hated work ( If work was a good thing the rich would have it all and not let you do it ) so am now making up for lost time. I have always been open to new experiences and loved meeting people from different cultures, religions ( not that I am particularly religious but I am interested in religious philosophy and belief systems )and lifestyles that are tagged on to the former. Used to love rock climbing but a slight injury to one of my hands has meant I can't really put all of my faith in it any more. ( its not a wizened claw just a bit weaker than it needs to be ) So have gone back to cycling and at the moment small time touring with a view to at least a continental tour probably late next year, late next year because I hope to get to Ghana earlier in the year to see the places I used to live and meet the people that I remember as possibly the friendliest I've met in my travels and I can honestly say that for the most part I have only met friendly people whilst travelling.

Climbed Mount Kinabalu whilst stationed in Borneo fortunately before any sort of tourism or luxury lodges
