I am generally quiet and private, but I like to meet fun people and chat as well. I spend my time reading, running, playing video games on my sparkly DS, and being nerdy on the internet. I just moved to Montreal recently, but I know the city pretty well having lived here briefly before.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted a few people in Japan and surfed a few times in Hong Kong and China. I'd be happy to host people here in Montreal as well.

Interests

I like the usual stuff. Food, movies, books, music, and even a little bit of casual pencil collecting. When I travel, I like to do lots of walking, eating and general wandering around. I'm not too big a fan of clubs/bars etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really like books about mind sharks. So far I've only found one, but I've read a lot of others during the search for more. At the moment, I particularly enjoy Doris Lessing, Michael Chabon and Roberto Bolano.

Teach, Learn, Share

I suppose I've always sort of wanted to play the banjo but haven't gotten around to it so far. I like talking about books and I really like cooking and eating. Recently I've made a lot of jam. You could have some during your visit.
