I just graduated from college and moved to NYC...I am slowly but surely falling in love with the city and am looking to expand my horizons in all directions...

I want to start participating more - I have not had the opportunity to do so as of yet as I just moved to the city. I would like to organize group events for poeple like me who do not know where to go and what to do for how much....

I'm interested in running, tennis, chess, books....actually everything under the sun....but I am mainly interested in doing things that I have never done before...currently, I'm trying to see if I can join a band to sing -- I didn't know I would need to take singing lessons before getting rejected by a band member on the basis that I had no experience...so I'm just exploring all the possibilities -- am currently looking for a singing teacher if there is anyone out there :)

I just watched an amazing french movie called the Last Mistress.
I'm into european movies a lot ...
Regarding music I love all kinds except for rap, hip hop...Otherwise, I'm a fan of music regardless of the languages they are in, and will try to sing the songs even if I have no clue what I'm saying...

The one amazing thing I have done in my lifetime is to have seen many countries, and travelled and learnt about different cultures....I have met wonderful people and made wonderful friends...I am now living in one of the most amazing cities in the world...

I want to learn from people about what it means to lead a meaningful life...I want to hear what others have done, how it has changed them, what they want to do, why they want to do it....I can tell you what my life has been like but mainly, I believe it is by looking at others and seeing how far they go that you get to know where you stand in the scheme of things...how much more I can do is based on the inspiration learning from others can provide me...
