PHILOSOPHY

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Since I am quite a busy scientist, I can't assure to have time to host someone, but I'm always willing to show people the lovely city of Gent or to meet up for a drink..
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I surfed and hosted a couple of times and always liked it. I also think it's a great way to meet new people, share stories and get to know the real people instead of just visiting a city.
Interests
- traveling
- music

Music, Movies, and Books
I really enjoy music, concerts, festivals. I like bands like The National, Arcade Fire, The XX, Beirut, Angus and Julia Stone, Bloc Party, Vampire Weekend, Tame Impala, The Shins, Alt-J and I could just keep on going... I'm also always up for discovering new bands!
I love the cinema! Recently got a projector so I kinda have my own cinema at home now. Big fan of Wes Anderson!
I love to read, but have way too little time to do so.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Snorkeling with a whale shark in Panama.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to cook (vegetarian) and would love to cook a meal for my hosts. Or make some traditional German cookies :)
