Still fairly young, once interested in doing big things especially academically, now content for a life of daily scenic beauty and moments of real connection. General-knowledgable on global affairs, the arts, science, you name it. Like to be polite. Especially currently curious in philosophy, but also in a range from theoretical physics to psychoanalysis. Polyglot and polymath, very reasonable, terribly open-minded.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have surfed a lot of couches off of the site and have had my couch surfed quite a bit too.

Have been hosting CS-ers with Francois Rideau in Cambridge, MA. Great times!

Have surfed near and far and now hosting folks in Dakotas

Reading books in coffee shops, eating foreign cuisine and cooking organic, long worthwhile conversations, meeting amazing individuals who have been shaped by the world and in some way, shape it.

Music: all and any. Public radio podcasts galore.

TV: House of Cards, Big C, Foyle's War, NOVA, a bit of Anthony Bourdain, Public TV. Netflix binge as a stress reliever so have watched your favorites once am sure.

Books:Checkov, Carver, Alexie, Conrad, Dostoevsky, Beauvoir, Marquez, Eliot, Tolstoy, Babel, Bukowski, Bishop (oh, Bishop), Franzen, and many, many more.
