CURRENT MISSION

Qué es lo que más me hace feliz?

ABOUT ME

I'm energetic and lazy, a brooding type and a jolly girl, a responsible and caring friend and sister, i'm more child than an adult, interested in cultures, learning something new and searching for moments filled with laughter, friendship, surprises, together with people that make me reflect my way of thinking and bring surprisingly novel, stimulating ideas to my life.

After having had some restless time, living in Brazil, coming back to Germany to finish my studies and moving around to then UK and different cities in Germany, I am now finally settled (at least a bit and for few more months) living in Copenhagen where I study for a master's degree in social sciences. Currently in my last year, I focus on anthropology - digital, visual and urban anthropology. It's the total opposite to what I did during my undergrad studies - have a degree in business studies - and I feel that I finally arrived at my academic home. It's all new and challenging but gosh, I love it! Planning and soon completing also a small research project - so it's all in all pretty exciting right now.

I have two jobs. One as a tourist guide (yessss I rarely pass a building or statue without commenting on it and dropping some fun facts) and do some social media stuff.

I'm participating in all sorts of events, projects, whatever attracts my attention. Right now its an entrepreneurship thingy, then I take Danish lessons, I do work out a bit but I would never declare "going to the gym" as my hobby.

After Danmark, I might go somewhere else. But I might also stay for a while. It's pretty comfortable up here - come and convince yourself!

PHILOSOPHY

what sums it up quite good is Willy Brandts view: "The best way to predict the future is to create it."

Right now I am really focusing on living the present while not forgetting to reflect upon how my actions will impact our future society and environment.
I don't have a fixed idea of where I see myself in a couple of years neither location wise nor with regards to my profession. I plan max 6 months ahead - have been doing since I left school - mostly it went well, sometimes it didn't and I took the "wrong" path, but it's still my preferred approach.

Music, Movies, and Books

music. mhh yea a lot of - have different type of music for moods/activites.. from Brazilian music , indie to electro cumbia. Currently a lot of house. Also techno for the odd endless clubbing nights.
There's so much good stuff and I am all the time exploring new music when travelling or starting a journey through soundcloud.

I love to read but I don't have a favourite book. I liked a lot 'The Nazi and the Barber'. atm I'm really into podcasts - ahf so much knowledge, debates, entertaining stories I can access through this medium!
