About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meet people from all around the world and travel with them.

ABOUT ME

I am 29 years old and working on getting my dream career and trying to fit in some traveling. I'm looking for some adventure. I live in Wind Lake, Wisconsin. I have a degree in anthropology and am continuing my education in death investigation and criminal justice... and maybe fitting in some history. I'm hoping to be taking on an internship at the medical examiners office next spring. I want to learn French and Spanish and sign language. I am interested in physical anthropology, forensic anthropology, and archaeology.

I like flea markets, thrift shops, and rummage sales and enjoy hunting for treasures to add to my collections. I collect old cameras, dresses, and vintage accessories like pins and scarves. I enjoy photography and can be found on both sides of the camera. I love old movies and would watch some Hitchcock film over a newer film any day. I read a lot and own so many books that I can't keep track of them all. If you're looking for something to read I'm sure I can lend you something.

I like going out to the bar with my boyfriend and friends. It's nice playing a few songs on the jukebox and enjoying a drink while hanging out with the guys
I do a little bit of sewing. I was in a Rocky Horror Picture Show cast where I played Columbia. I have a small bit of experience with other theatre troupes as well. I was in a local production of Fahrenheit 451 in the summer of 2010 and have written material for and acted in a silent film sketch comedy troupe called the M.U.T.E.S.

I love a good conversation and I love people who have a story to tell.

I have been to Europe once on a class trip and loved the tour. I also did a bit of traveling in Ireland, Portugal, and Spain in 2011. I want to do some more traveling all over the world, and am always looking for people to travel with...

I really want to meet people on here and hopefully be able to meet those people in person, if you happen to take a look at my profile, say a quick hello!

PHILOSOPHY

Live fast, die pretty.

You only get one life, make it an adventure.

Never be too afraid to try something once.

Everything is relative.

Live the life you love.

I believe in treating people with the respect they deserve; being a decent, honest person.

Nothing is impossible if you're willing to try.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to gain connections with people all over the world and be able to meet those people in person. It would be awesome to form lasting friendships where I could meet up with individuals multiple times. I want to be able to offer up my couch to people that could become close friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've done a bit of couchsurfing, but I would definitely love to do more very soon. I also cannot wait to be able to host travelers at my home once renovations are finished.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Every day is amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

SHARE:
Although I live in a small town I am always willing to meet with fellow travelers and show them around the area.

I'm what I like to call a "perma-student" I've been in school forever and will probably stay in school until I die. I don't mind sharing some of the things I've learned over the years. Anthropology can be pretty darn interesting!

I am not the greatest cook in the world, but I always like trying to learn to cook or bake new things. I'm an experimental cook, I guess, and if you're willing to taste the end product then I am willing to cook for you!

I really want to learn new languages! If you can lend a hand in helping me learn French, Spanish, Portuguese, German, etc.... I would love you forever.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
