About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Find a stray Vespa:)

ABOUT ME

I speak a lot and very fast, live very quickly, have a lot of plans and ideas and no time to realize them. I'm taking the most of my life, I hope.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have experienced the couch surfing dimension of travelling and have fallen in love with this idea:) I love meeting strangers who within a few minutes are no more strangers.

Interests

Aims of the Critical Discourse Analysis. Maybe it's something clear to most of us but maybe not. I would like to show that 'language' we use is not only an abstract matter. It's a phenomenon that shapes us but we shape it as well and therefore I would like to research racism, all kinds of phobias and first and foremost the discrimination of women in the language. Yet, it doesn't mean that I am a crazy feminist, not at all, just take a look at the advertisements, why are we treated as objects, dehumanized and shown as a pair of boobs or as a part of an ad of a cell phone or a piece of furniture? all these sustain the image of a 'woman-thing' and shape thinking about women in the current and future world. I want to help to break this chain!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music - especially Polish one and concerts - I go to every concert of my favourite bands, which I have a lot - Tworzywo Sztuczne, Muzykoterapia, Laki Lan, Marysia Sadowska, Kasia Nosowka, Dr. No, Hey and for sure more:) I like books and take pleasure in reading in foreign languages - mainly German stream "Junge Literatur" with the deconstruction of the human identity.
